I have worked professionally with dogs since 2000. I am a trainer at East Bay SPCA and Berkeley East Bay Humane Society. I also act as evaluator for ‘Hug A Pet’ - an Ohlone Humane Society organization providing therapy dogs for different service centers.

I graduated from the SFSPCA Dog Training Academy with a Certificate in Training & Counseling (2004), a Special Topics in Advanced Counseling for Stranger Aggression & Social Fear (2005), and Dog/Dog Aggression (2006) all taught by Jean Donaldson and Janice Bradley. I completed the Marin Humane Society’s Consultant/Instructor Training Academy I & II with Trish King (2003 & 2004).

I am senior lecturer at City College San Francisco’s multimedia program and have been a college instructor since 1996.

My continuing education includes attending seminars, consulting with fellow trainers, competing in agility, attending classes with my own dogs as well as volunteering at the Oakland Animal Shelter.
